| The Department of Electromechanical Systems and Metal Engineering of Ghent University is now equipped with a custom-made oil conditioning system. This new equipment was specially designed according to the customer requirements in terms of pressure (16 bars), temperature and flow (5-50 l/min). Stainless steel material was used for all piping and pumps for high resistance to corrosive fluids. This unit was made to be used with a high viscosity range of oils from ISO VG5 till ISO VG320. It is equipped with real-time wear sensors to detect any release of wear debris with a response time of a few seconds only.
